Yellow & Brown Bow Cake

This birthday cake was for a couple celebrating
their 60th and 65th birthdays. I was asked to
create one cake for both birthdays.

So, I decided to do a stripe on the bottom tier to be
slightly more masculine for his birthday. I quilted
the top layer and also added little flowers for her birthday.
Then I topped the entire cake off with a bow!

It's a 4" almond cake with almond buttercream frosting, and
a 6" chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream frosting.
Decorations in fondant, chocolate fondant and gumpaste.
