Puppy Birthday Cake

We worked on this cake today for a little
girl getting ready to celebrate her 2nd birthday!

When her mom would ask what she wanted
on her cake, all she would say was "puppies
and lipstick". So, we decided to create a
cake that made it look like the puppy had
gotten in a purse and drug all the stuff out.
She ended up with the lipstick on top of the
cake, headed for her doghouse.



The cake is a 6" strawberry cake with
vanilla buttercream frosting. All decorations
are fondant or gumpaste and are edible.
