Golf Birthday Cake

Here's the cake I worked on today for a
30th birthday.



It's a 9" vanilla cake filled with chocolate buttercream
and iced in vanilla buttercream. Decorations are fondant
and gumpaste. The golf ball and bag are made from
Rice Krispy treats.

Graduation Cakes

Here are the cakes I worked on today.
Two graduation cakes for two young ladies
graduating from Greenbrier High School.



This cake is a 6" yellow butter cake filled with
chocolate buttercream and a 9" strawberry cake.
The entire cake is frosted in vanilla buttercream.
Decorations are fondant and gumpaste. The cap
is made from Rice Krispy Treats and the flat part
is fondant covered foamcore.

This cake is a 1/2 sheet strawberry cake with vanilla
buttercream frosting. Decorations are fondant and
gumpaste. The cap is a Rice Krispy Treat and the flat
part is fondant covered foamcore.

Turtle Baby Shower Cake

This cake was for a baby shower.
The turtle matched the nursery bedding.



It's a 6" chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream
frosting. The trim is chocolate buttercream and
is decorated with sugar pearls. The turtle is
made from fondant.

I worked on this cake yesterday for
a movie themed birthday party.



The bottom tier is an 8" vanilla cake with
almond buttercream frosting. And the two
"movie reels" are 6" chocolate cake with
vanilla buttercream frosting.

Decorations in fondant and gumpaste flowers.

pet guinea pigs recreated as decorations.
(That's Fiona at the bottom and Butterscotch

The cake is a 6" vanilla cake with vanilla
buttercream frosting. The decorations are
fondant. The guinea pigs are made from
Rice Krispy Treats and then covered in fondant.

Yes - there is even some pretend guinea pig poo - lol!

Farm Birthday Cake - Another Version

Here's the cake of the day!
A little bit different version of our farm cake.



This cake is a 9" strawberry cake bottom tier with
a 6" chocolate cake top tier. The smash cupcake
is also strawberry cake. Most of the decorations
are fondant. Cake is iced in vanilla buttercream
frosting.

The black dog was a must have!

The haystack is a Rice Krispy Treat covered
in buttercream frosting. The chicken and
eggs were a must also!

Unbirthday Tea Party.
How fun does that sound?

The 6" bottom tier is vanilla cake and the
4" top tier is strawberry cake. The tea
cup on top is made from Rice Krispy treats
and then covered in fondant.

Floral Fantasy Wedding Cake

This is a display cake that I've been trying to
get finished up for the past week.

This is a 4"/8"/12" combination.
Entire cake is covered in fondant and
cut out flowers are hand painted to match
the ribbon. Flowers are silk.
